Stasher approached 中国体育平台 with the objective of improving organic visibility at an international level, with a view of increasing organic bookings and overall brand awareness.
While Stasher already have a strong organic presence, they reside in a highly competitive niche, where large scale content marketing campaigns are required to attract the quality, and quantity of coverage required to really move the needle.
The 中国体育平台 team developed an in-depth linking and content strategy, where key competitors were analysed to gauge what was required to compete. Multiple ideation sessions were then run to lay down the foundations of a large, highly targeted content campaign, before working with Stasher to refine the ideas that we thought would be most impactful.
The chosen idea involved analysing 99 tourist attractions from around the world, across 6 key data points, to create a definitive ranking of the best (and worse!). This idea was unique, backed by reputable data and highly relevant to Stasher and their target audience.
Our in house content, design, development and PR teams worked in unison from conception to outreach, and subsequently secured over 220 pieces of coverage online, in print, and on television shows with substantial audiences. It even prompted Jimmy Kimmel to put together a tongue-in-cheek segment on the piece’s findings .
